This course is designed for the person who has little to no knowledge of firearm safety, its function, or shooting experience. This course is designed to start your firearms journey by laying out a strong foundational basis, which includes firearm functioning, laws surrounding the use of firearms, concealment methods and equipment presentation, and real-world scenario-based discussions in a low-pressure environment.

Prerequisite: none
Course covers the required training piece necessary to obtain your concealed handgun license in the State of Oregon (as outlined in Oregon Revised State 166.291).
What to bring: Open, teachable mind, good attitude, pistol, 100 rounds of ammunition, close toed shoes, water, lunch.
