Yes! At NW Precision Training, our courses far exceed the minimum requirements necessary for you to apply for an Oregon CHL and we provide hands-on firearms training in all of our courses; you won't find this combination anywhere else in Oregon.

Any firearm from a reputable manufacturer may be used at our shooting range. Please contact us if you have any questions.

There is no specific caliber requirement. Whether you shoot a .22 caliber or a .44 mag, we will provide superior training. We are more interested in the caliber of your attitude. Please email us if you have questions regarding firearms or calibers for our courses.

Take our Pistol Craft 201: Intermediate Pistol course. Our training model is designed to build on foundational methods. When you pass qualifications, you will be invited to take Pistol Craft 301: Advanced Tactics to continue building your training.

Required items differ per course and can be found under each course description here on our website. In order for you to get the most out of what you paid for, we'll also require you come with a good attitude, a teachable, open mind, and a mindset of safety.

No. Only commercially produced ammunition is permitted; no reloaded or hand-loaded ammunition is allowed.
