Rifle Craft 201 will push you and your carbine to the limits in this fun, informative, and challenging course.
We will spend the day at the range learning the fundamentals of firearms safety, marksmanship, deployment tactics, and reloading methods. We will be shooting prone, kneeling, and standing, around barricades and obstacles, and at multiple targets, all at a variety of distances. This course will accommodate a wide variety of skill levels and rifle configurations, but is primarily designed for the AR platform with iron, red dot, or low magnification optics. Mini 14's, and other rifles chambered in 5.56 / .223, or pistol calibers and magazine fed rifles are also at home in this course. Your rifle, properly outfitted, is a great tool. Learn the rifle's limits as well as your own.
A handgun is a defensive weapon, designed to help you fight your way back to your rifle. That's where the real power is. Now train on that rifle so you are prepared and capable, regardless of the situation.

There are so many different slings, red dot optics, magnified scopes, flip-up iron sights, grips, fore grips, lasers, stocks, and accessories, how do you know which is best for you? We will briefly discuss the many options as well as their benefits or drawbacks. What does your rifle need for this class? Sights. Some rifles come from the factory with nothing - at a minimum, you need iron sights. Contact us with any questions you might have regarding this. If you already have your rifle set up with all the options, you'll hit the ground running.
